What are the Trends Gazelles?

For more than 25 years, the Trends Gazelles have recognized Belgian companies that demonstrate the strongest growth. Each year, this distinction holds an important place in the Belgian economic landscape.

The organization analyzes the official figures, growth in added value, employment, and cash flow over the past five financial years, to identify the most dynamic companies.

When a company files its annual accounts with the National Bank, it is automatically included in the analysis. No application is required: the figures speak for themselves.

A selection based on figures, not speeches

What sets the Trends Gazelles apart from other awards? Their objectivity.
Companies are not evaluated on:

• A compelling communication strategy,
• A well-crafted marketing strategy,
• Or an attractive sales pitch.

But rather on measurable and verifiable results:

Local and national recognition

The organizers present the Trends Gazelles by region (Wallonia, Brussels, and Flanders) and rank companies in categories: small, medium-sized, and large.

Beyond a simple label, this distinction highlights companies that stimulate the local economy, create jobs, and strengthen regional vitality.

In each province, the ranking highlights the top-performing companies. It also designates a “Trends Gazelles Ambassador,” who holds the title for one year.
